Christmas Candy Wreath Tutorial

When I was younger I use to make candy wreaths as gifts at Christmas time.

I haven’t made one of these for many years, so I decided I’d create one as a gift this year and share the how-to with you.

All you need is: wrapped candy (that has twist openings on each side) curling ribbon, a wire hanger and a pretty bow to finish it off.

Simple twist the wire into a circle.

I wrapped my hanger with floral tape, but you don’t need to do this, you can’t even see the wire when you finish anyway.

Tie the candy around the wire with your curling ribbon and tie it into a knot.

and repeat with another candy and another and another…

until your wreath is full.

Finish with pretty ribbon and you’ve got a festive, inexpensive gift.

Mine is a mini candy wreath, I didn’t use the entire wire, I cut it smaller.

The recipient just removes the candy from the free end.

May you be a little inspired! Until next time,
