My New Willow Tree Nativity Set

I’m so excited! Want to know why?  Because I received an early Christmas gift from my mom!  She totally, totally spoiled me!  She bought me the NEW Willow Tree Nativity Set!!

If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you may recall my

Missing Christmas Décor Post

from last year.  I talked about the set in that post.

I’ve been wanting the Willow Tree set for FOREVER! I was hoping for the smaller one and then I saw this one at Hallmark and totally fell.in.love. with it.  It’s larger than the set that I’ve wanted and it has color in it, which I LOVE!

AND I have this incredibly talented father-in-law who totally spoiled me too by building the Sanctuary for my new set!

and my sister bought me the stars and the angel.

I just had to show you a close-up of the pretty ornaments that I found at the Dollar tree this year. These are tree ornaments, but I just added them to the garland around the nativity set.

My new Nativity Set sits on a table in my entryway

and serves as a constant reminder of the

TRUE

Reason for the Season!

I LOVE it!! A big, huge thanks to my mom, my father-in-law and my sister! Thank YOU Ten times over!

I’m debating whether I should paint the Sanctuary or leave it as unfinished wood.  Originally I told my father-in-law to use unfinished wood that I could paint, but after seeing it, I'm undecided.  So help me make a decision.

What do you think? Should I paint the Sanctuary?  OR stain it? OR leave it the way it is? If so, what color would you paint/stain it?

Come back later this week to see my 2011 Christmas Décor’ Home Tour.

May you be a little inspired! Until next time,

DaNita
