2015 Christmas Decor Home Tour

Wow! Christmas is this week you guys!

Here's my 2015 Christmas Decor Home Tour - Finally!  Enjoy!

My front entry looks like so:

I'm so in love with making pillows!

This vintage truck is one that I sell in

Posh + Tattered

.

Like every year, you'll see that I've made a lot of changes in my home decor again this past year.

A huge change that I've recently made is my entire interior paint color.  I went with

Loggia from Sherwin Williams

for my main paint color and it's in my family room too. Love this color! I highly recommend it if you want a bit of gray, but not too cool of a gray.

You can see all my home changes on my

home tour page

and the different ways that I've set up my home for Christmas, throughout the years too.

 I showed you my

Christmas Countdown Board

already...

Our elf was hanging out the day that I snapped pictures.

 Notice...

I painted the bottom of my command center cabinets.

Remember, I talked about doing that last year in

this post

?

Now into the Family Room. This is where we spend most of our time.

I'm so in love with music sheet stuff this year.

I made these JOY ornaments

and I made the deer head ornaments too.

It goes from white lights to colored lights with a click of a button.

How cool is that?!?!

The stockings and stocking holders are new this year.

The

stockings

are actually from Oriental Trading.  They say they're burlap, but they're not.  I really like them a lot though.  I customized mine a bit, I took the ribbon off and added my letters.

My father-in-law cutout the boards for me and I painted the stocking holders. So those are hand-made and I love them!

(Oops... burnt out light bulb in my built-ins ;)

Our Christmas village is displayed this year again.

 My boys love it!

  reindeer...

 ... and more reindeer.

Now we will move into the Living Room...

Another pillow that I made and sell in

Posh + Tattered

and another reindeer:

 So yeah, call me crazy...

... I'm painting my piano!  For real!!! and I say painting, because I'm not done yet.  I still need to add a few more coats of Annie Sloan old white chalk paint and then I'll wax it.  I plan on putting a cushion on the piano bench too, which will bring some color over there.  I know a LOT of people are going to think I'm crazy to paint over a beautiful shiny black piano, but I've always wanted a white piano.  So yeah... I'm giving myself a white (or off white) piano.

and I just love the way that my nativity set sits on top of my piano...

May you remember the true reason for the season!

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."

Luke 2:11

Merry Christmas from my home to yours!

May you be a little inspired!

Until next time,

DaNita
