Craft Room/ Home Office Makeover

The other week, I revamped my Craft Room/Home Office.

Before I show you all of the after photos, let’s take a peek at the before photo’s:

This room was in need of a little makeover. I needed to move my computer away from the window and I needed more empty desktop space to work on.

I knew that I needed to take the large armoire out of this room and I didn’t want to get new furniture, as I do love the desk and file cabinet that I already had. It just needed some paint. So I painted the desk and file cabinet in Farmhouse Paint, White Ash Color, removed the armoire and brought in a shelf that I made a while back.

Here are the before and after, side by side photos:

I found an office chair last weekend, on a facebook selling site that I manage. I’m super excited about it, but for it to “fit” into this light and bright room, it needs a little makeover, which I am currently working on and will share it with you all when I am finished.

The chair will be painted white, also.

I love transformations like this and now I’m totally inspired to create and work in this room again.
