Front Porch Makeover: Simple Updates, Big Refresh

There’s something so satisfying about starting fresh in the spring/summer - and this year, my porch was calling for a little love. After months of cold, wind, and general winter grime, I decided it was time for a mini makeover to bring some brightness and life back to my front porch.

First things first - cleaning

Before anything pretty could happen, I gave the porch a serious clean. I pulled everything off the porch, pressure washed the concrete and cleaned the windows. Just doing that made the space feel 100% better — isn’t it amazing what a good clean can do?

We have the Greenworks 2000 Pressure Washer and it works great! I would highly recommend it!

New Rugs to Anchor the Space

Next up: New outdoor rugs! I wanted something that would define the space better, and I found the perfect rugs that made this happen. They instantly made the area feel a little more “finished.”

Planters

I added a few new pots and some faux floral plants to this space, which brightened up the space. I wanted to keep it minimal and these white faux florals were perfect for what I had in mind.

Pillow Power

To make the space a little cozier, I added some new outdoor pillows and I love how they instantly made the seating area more inviting.

Porch Life, Reimagined

I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. Simple changes, yet a big impact!

A front porch makeover doesn't have to be expensive or time-consuming. With a few new pieces — like a rug, planters, flowers and pillows — and a good cleaning, you can create a beautiful, welcoming space you’ll enjoy all season long.

May you be a little inspired.

Until Next Time,

DaNita
