Christmas Ornament Glass Jars

Looking for an easy way to add a little Christmas sparkle to your home? Christmas ornament jars are a simple, beautiful way to decorate for the holidays using glass jars and colorful Christmas ornaments you may already have.

I have always loved decorating with glass jars, especially at Christmastime. A few years ago, I purchased a set of glass jars from Target and started using them to display Christmas ornaments in our living room. I love how the ornaments look gathered together in the clear glass!

Decorating with Glass Jars and Christmas Ornaments

Every Christmas, I display my ornament-filled glass jars on top of our piano. I don't play the piano, but Mr. Delightful Order does and I LOVE it! He has a gift, and I get to enjoy the music.

The jars make such a pretty holiday display, and they are an easy way to bring Christmas color and sparkle into a room.

To make the arrangement feel even more festive, I added lighted garland around the jars. I also attached a few berries and ornaments with ribbon wire to dress up the garland.

The combination of colorful ornaments, sparkling lights, and festive accents creates a warm Christmas display without requiring an elaborate decorating project.

The vinyl wall art in our living room reads, “A Family Is God's Masterpiece.” I found it at Ross, and it is a sweet reminder of what matters most during this special time of year.

How to Style Christmas Ornament Jars

Want to create a similar look in your own home? Here are a few simple ideas to try.

  • Fill glass jars with Christmas ornaments. Combine ornaments in colors that complement your holiday decorating scheme.

  • Arrange the jars together. Display them on a piano, console table, mantel, sideboard, or living room shelf.

  • Add lighted garland. Arrange it around the jars to bring extra sparkle to the display.

  • Finish with festive accents. Faux berries, decorative ornaments, and ribbon wire can help tie the arrangement together.

You can adapt this idea to suit your own home, whether you prefer traditional Christmas colors, a neutral holiday palette, or a collection of shimmering metallic ornaments.

I love how all the ornaments sparkle together, just like Christmas!

A Little Christmas Sparkle at Home

One of my favorite things about decorating for the holidays is finding simple ways to use familiar items to create something special. Glass jars filled with Christmas ornaments are an easy example: they make a lovely seasonal display without needing lots of extra decorations.

You could also use this idea as inspiration for decorating an entryway, dining room, or another spot that could use a little holiday cheer.

Thanks for stopping by Delightful Order. Wishing you a beautiful and joy-filled Christmas season!

May you be a little inspired!

Until Next Time,

DaNita
