Quick Clean Home Refresh & A Free Printable

Everyday I do a quick clean in my home and about once every couple of weeks or so, I will do a refresh in my entire home. It usually takes me about an hour or two to complete it.

It makes me happy to have my house feeling like it’s all put together and clean again. This is not a super deep clean, it’s really more of a surface clean and a quick tidy up of every space in my home.

This is what I do:

  • TIDY EVERY ROOM - I quickly pick everything up and put it where it belongs - “A place for everything and everything in its place!”

  • MAKE BEDS - I always make my bed and my boys make their own beds. On a refresh day, I redo/remake their beds, straightening their bedding.

  • EMPTY TRASH - I empty all the trash cans.

  • COUNTERS & TABLE - I clear and wipe the kitchen counters, table, sink and appliances.

  • DISHES - I load, unload and put away all the dishes.

  • CLEAN BATHROOMS - I wipe the counters, sink and toilets with Clorox wipes that I keep in each bathroom. And I wash the mirrors

  • LAUNDRY - I get all the laundry caught up - washed, dried, folded and put away.

  • VACUUM- I vacuum the entire house.

  • OPEN WINDOWS - I open up some of the windows to let some fresh air in.

  • LIGHT A CANDLE - I light a candle in the kitchen.

I’ve been doing this for years and it has worked well for our household.

I created a free printable checklist for you to print out and use, if you’d like to do the same.

May you be a little inspired.

Until Next Time,
