How to Make Your Home Look Less Cluttered

If you’re wondering how to make your home look less cluttered, you’re going to love what I am sharing with you today!

Just a few simple changes can instantly create a more spacious, calm, and organized home. And who doesn’t want that?

Here are 7 things that you can start implementing today to start to see immediate results:

1. Clear Visible Surfaces

Start with countertops, tables, and dressers. Remove any unnecessary items. Less is more here! Too many items on surfaces makes things look messy and cluttered.

2. Storage Solutions

Baskets, bins, and drawer organizers are great for keeping things tucked away and looking neat and tidy.

3. Focus on One Space at a Time

Tackle one room, one drawer, or one shelf at a time. Trying to tackle too many spaces at once can be overwhelming and make you want to quit.

4. Create Drop Zones

Create spots for daily used items like keys, papers, mail, etc. Use a tray or small basket to catch the clutter. An All in One Planner is perfect for organizing mail and papers and helps at keeping them all in one spot and off the counters and tables.

5. Tone it Down

Keep your color scheme neutral, calming and cohesive. Too many colors and small decorative pieces, or mismatched items can make a space look cluttered and messy.

6. Rethink Furniture

Multi-functional furniture like storage ottomans, beds with drawers, nesting tables, or furniture pieces that have doors and drawers can help reduce clutter.

7. Reset Daily

Establish daily habits like resetting your main areas before bed. Tidying just a few minutes each day can prevent clutter from building up again.

There you have it. 7 things that you can do to make your home look less cluttered!
