Simple Fall Home Decor Ideas - With Free Printables

Fall is my favorite time of year and I do love Fall decor.

But I like keeping things simple and using what I already have, then adding a few little touches that make the house feel like fall.

A few pumpkins, a yummy fall candle, a cozy pillow or blanket, and a pretty piece of seasonal artwork can make such a difference.

Printable artwork is an easy way to change things up without buying something new every time the seasons change. So today I'm sharing some of my favorite simple fall decorating ideas, along with some free printables you can use in your own home.

Here are some easy ways to decorate your home for fall:

Start With the Entryway

Decorate your front porch, door and entry way. Hang a fall wreath on the front door. (I showed you how I made this one last year). Add a simple framed fall art piece to the entry table.

Use What You Already Have

I'm a big believer that decorating doesn't have to mean shopping.

Before buying anything new, walk around your home and see what you can move around or repurpose.

A basket from the living room might work in the entryway. A vase that's usually on the kitchen counter might look pretty with some fall branches. And an old frame can get new life with a seasonal printable.

Sometimes moving a few things around is all it takes to make a room feel fresh again.

Make the Living Room Cozy

Make your living rooms feel cozy in the fall by adding a few extra blankets, soft pillows, warm colors, and candles.

You don't need pumpkins and fall signs everywhere. Sometimes one simple print with a blanket and a candle is enough to give the room that cozy fall feeling.

Add a Little Fall to the Kitchen

The kitchen is another easy place to decorate for the season.

I love little touches here - a pumpkin, a pretty tea towel, a wooden cutting board, a small framed fall print, some neutral color florals and a candle.

Bring a Little Fall Inside

One of my favorite things about fall is all the natural color and texture.

Simple things like branches, pinecones, dried flowers, acorns, and pumpkins add warmth without making the house feel overly decorated.

A simple vase filled with branches paired with a framed fall print is one of those little combinations that looks beautiful without requiring much effort.

Keep Fall Decor Simple

The most inviting homes don't necessarily have the most decorations. They have the right ones. Choose a handful of pieces you genuinely love. Mix them with the decor you already have, so the seasonal touches feel natural.

Think collected rather than coordinated, cozy rather than cluttered. Less is more!
